1 C nuts
3/4 C canola oil
3/4 C water
1/4 C molasses or honey
1 tsp salt

I don't like coconut but love granola, would it make any difference to leave it out.
ReplyDeleteGranola is a very flexible thing. You might want to replace it with something you do like - maybe some other grain or dried fruit? Or just leave it out and increase the oats and wheat germ by 1/2 a cup each. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYou can be very flexible with granola. I have a recipe that uses fresh orange juice, apple juice, and pure maple syrup for most of the sweetening. I also add almonds, pecans, raisins, dried cranberries, and/or dates to mine.
